2019年2月11日，USAP中國站的比賽在成都拉開了帷幕。有來自全國各地學校的代表參加了這次比賽，大家都想金榜題名，為學校獲得榮譽并爭取美國賽的資格。

我先為大家介紹一下USAP是一個什么比賽？

USAP全名United States Academic Pentathlon 也就是美國學術五項全能，分別由數學，藝術，社科，科學和文學組成。USAP作為美國首屈一指的初高中生綜合學術學術活動平臺，已經擁有46年歷史了，它能讓青少年在這5個學術科目里充分開發潛力，而我們這次去成都參加的usap中國賽晉級的隊伍可成功前往美國參加的USAP決賽。

在2018年的一天，我們接到教導處的通知，要在每個星期三的社團課時間到固定的教室里進行USAP賽前的校內練習。隨后，我們在每個星期三的社團課時間都會按時抵達教室。在學校里，進行練習時都會有外教老師來幫助我們一起學習USAP書上的五項全能知識。有學校精心挑選的專業書籍，有外教們不辭辛苦地專注輔導，同學們也都更加認真地對待這次比賽！

轉眼就到了比賽的那一天。賽前，大家都在調整自己的狀態，互相說著“不要緊張”“發揮出正常水平就行”等加油的話，王主任也一直在旁邊鼓勵我們！可是，不緊張是不可能的，大家情不自禁地總想著再翻開書，再復習一下……比賽也在大家期待又緊張的氛圍中開始了……

整場比賽中，我印象最深的是五項全能的超級問答環節，超級問答分為3輪，第一組是對答組，第二組是學者組，第三組是榮譽組。這個比賽分為3輪，每一輪共十題，總共30題，一題積一分，答對后，后面的裁判員會舉綠旗，答錯會舉紅旗。第一輪，我們組是由我和吳旭恒來做，前面連對了兩道，后面開始連錯了4道，我們的心態開始慌亂，我和吳旭恒泰然自若的表現背后是怦怦的心臟跳動聲和開始冒細汗的手掌，緊張和壓力向我們撲面而來，如果一直錯下去的話，不僅成績會和其他參賽選手拉開，更會給接下來參加比賽的隊友們帶來很多困難，但我們還是選擇堅持到底，最終答對了4道錯了6道題。我和吳旭恒比賽完都很沮喪，懊惱沒有發揮出最好的水平，沒能給隊友爭得更多的分數。不過，大家都沒有抱怨，反而都在對我們說著“題目不簡單，你們還打頭陣，已經表現得不錯了……”鼓勵的話。瞬間我特別感動有這樣一群互幫互助的好隊友。我們為接下來即將參加比賽的隊友趙樹文等人說了自己參賽應對題目和調整心態的經驗。接下來的比賽，果然不出我所料，他們答的時候，后面的裁判員基本上都舉起綠旗，很少有紅旗了，答題連連正確后更加鼓舞了我們的士氣。最后，要輪到最強的榮譽組的人出場了，他們是龍悅和張屹昕，當時場下一片鼓勵加油的聲音，能聽到我們團隊的六年級所有人都在為他們鼓勁兒！又是一片飄綠，我們班的英語學霸唐詩和其他隊友不負眾望，對了7個，錯了3個，我們3輪結束積了17分。盡管總分數并不突出，但我們都盡己所能地認真對待比賽，最終我們還得了一個最佳組織獎，整個團隊由衷地爆出熱烈的掌聲，感謝學校老師們的諄諄教導，感謝隊友們互幫互助，更感謝自己的努力付出！

對我來說，參加這次大賽本身就是自我突破的過程。并不擅長英語的我，邁出了第一步，給了我很多的鼓勵，更讓我受益匪淺。來自全國各地的參賽隊伍同臺競爭，讓我感受到了比賽的殘酷，更感受到了人外有人天外有天的現實。我感受到了自己外語運用能力的欠缺，通過賽前的準備復習也讓我的語言能力有了很大的提高。而且在這次usap比賽里，我交到了兩個其他學校的朋友，真是不虛此行！

通過本次活動，讓我堅信不忘初心，方得始終，道路雖然艱辛，但一定收獲滿滿。難忘的成都USAP之行，我們在參與中成長了！

Chengdu USAP trip, grow up in participation

On February 11, 2019, the USAP China Station competition will begin in Chengdu. Schools from all over the country have come to participate in the competition. Everyone wants to make a gold medal to win honors and qualifications for their school.

First of all, let me introduce to you what kind of competition USAP is. The full name of USAP is United States Academic Pentathlon, which is the American Academic Pentathlon. It consists of mathematics, art, social sciences, science and literature. USAP is the first comprehensive academic competition platform for junior and high school students in the United States. Now, it has 46 years of history. It can enable teenagers to fully develop their potential in these five academic fields. This time, we went to Chengdu to participate in USAP China. Advanced teams can successfully travel to the USAP finals in the United States.

One day in 2018, we received a notice from the teacher that every Wednesday, we should go to the regular classroom for pre-USAP practice. Then, we will arrive at the classroom on time for every Wednesday's class. In the school, we have foreign teachers to help us learn the five omnipotent knowledge in USAP. There are professional books carefully selected by schools, foreign teachers who spare no pains to concentrate on counseling, and students are also more serious about this contest!

Later, one day after another, it was the day of the competition. Before the competition, everyone was adjusting their state. We were all saying to each other not to be nervous, just to play a normal level. Director Wang also encouraged us! But it's impossible to be no nervous. I always want to open the book and review it again. The competition also started in a tense atmosphere of expectation.

In the whole competition, I was most impressed by the super quiz link of pentathlon. The super quiz is divided into three rounds. The first group is the answer group, the second group is the scholar group, and the third group is the honor group. This competition is divided into three rounds, each round has ten questions, a total of 30 questions, one question accumulates one point. After the answer is correct, the referee behind will raise the green flag and the wrong answer will raise the red flag. In the first round, Wu Xuheng and I did our group. In the first round, we got two straight lines and four wrong ones. Our mentality began to panic. Behind Wu Xuheng and I's calm performance, our heartbeat and palms started to sweat. Tension and pressure came to us. If we kept on making mistakes, we would not only get bad results but also will bring a lot of difficulties to the teammates who will take part in the next match, but we still persevered in the end, and finally answered four wrongd and six questions right. Wu Xuheng and I were very frustrated after the match, frustrated that we did not play the best level, and failed to win more points for our teammates. However, instead of complaining, everyone is saying to us, "The topic is not simple, you are still in the lead, and you are doing well..." Encouraging words. Instantly, I was particularly moved by such a group of good teammates who helped each other! For the next team-mate Zhao Shuwen and others who will participate in the competition, we said our experience in dealing with the problems and adjusting their mentality in the competition. The next game, as I expected, when they answered, the referees behind them basically raised the green flag, rarely the red flag, even more inspired our morale after the correct answer! Finally, it's the turn of the strongest honor group, who are TonyLongand Yixin Zhang. There was a voice of encouragement and cheering. We can hear all the sixth graders of our team cheering for them! It was green again. Our class grisliness English learner Sally and other teammates failed to live up to expectations. Seven of them were right and three were wrong. At the end of the three rounds, we accumulated 17 points. Although the total score is not outstanding, but we all do our best to take the competition seriously, and eventually we won a best organization award. the whole team heartily burst out warm applause, thank the teachers of the school for our earnest teaching, thank teammates for helping each other, but also thank our efforts!

For me, participating in the contest itself is a self-breakthrough, I am not good at English, I took the first step to give me a lot of encouragement, but also let me benefit a lot. Competition with teams from all over the country has made me feel the cruelty of the competition and the talent from outside. I deeply felt my lack of foreign language ability, and my language ability has been greatly improved through the preparation and review before the competition. Moreover, I also made two friends from other schools in this USAP competition.

It's a worthwhile trip! Let me firmly believe in not forgetting the first heart, and always, although the road is arduous, but will certainly harvest a lot! Unforgettable trip to Chengdu USAP, we grew up in participation.
