Nike High school Basketball League Pep-Rally
G11-G12Thursday, March 7th was a very special day, as SHSID celebrated its first pep rally! It was also the first time an SHSID team had broken into the top four in the Nike High School Basketball League. After Director Liu Qin initiated the conference, the pep rally officially started.
To begin, the host introduced the team’s highly respected and distinguished coach, Lawman. Under the leadership of team captain Duan Yang, the team pumped up the crowd by giving a short speech, and left the stadium to thunderous applause.
After shouting “Saddle Up!”, the excited atmosphere reached its zenith as the student representatives entered the stadium and they took photos with the team.
To conclude this pep rally, the host introduced the League the basketball team is going to attend and wished all of the team members luck. The event was not finished yet as the SHSID basketball team put on a captivating match for all of its audience members.
In the interlude, the audience members participated in various mini games as well as watching the Halo Club put on an excellent performance. In the blink of an eye, the game was over and the two teams ended up with a 53:53 tied game.
At the end of the match, we still saw the two teams feverishly discussing the match with determination and grit, and may we wish the SHSID basketball team best of luck in their future endeavors! 11-12年級 | 耐克高中籃球聯賽誓師大會
3月7日，我校在體育館舉辦第一屆籃球誓師大會，以祝賀我校男籃第一次參加耐克高中籃球聯賽并成功挺進四強。
誓師大會在11-12年級段主任劉琴老師的致辭后，正式開始。首先，主持人介紹了我校男子籃球校隊全體成員以及總教練羅斯杰。之后，在隊長段揚的帶領下，全體隊員進行了運動宣誓，現場氣氛熱烈，體育館掌聲不斷。
緊接著，劉琴主任把一個上中國際專屬戰鼓交到助威代表團手里，并表達了學校對助威團和球員的祝愿和期許。
助威團即刻敲響了振奮人心的戰鼓，在鼓聲的激勵下，隊長段揚帶領現場所有人一起大聲喊出了助威口號“SADDLE UP！”。此刻，體育館的空氣一度達到沸點。而就在此時，小學段同學代表也帶著他們自制的加油海報來為校隊加油。而在全體觀眾與校隊成員合影留念后，誓師大會進入到最后一個環節：主持人介紹了我校籃球隊即將面臨的一場半決賽。
至此，誓師大會暫告一個段落，之后進行的是師生籃球聯賽。雙方精湛的球技令觀眾目不暇接，最終比分定格在53:53。
祝愿我校籃球隊越戰越勇，不斷取得新的突破！
