記茗溪高等學院來訪上海民辦位育中學

2019年3月6日，日本茗溪高等學院的教師及學生代表來訪民辦位育，中日學生匯聚一堂，開展一年一度的課題研究交流活動。民位宋敏校長、學生處主管洪男老師、CAS負責人葛璐娜老師接待了遠道而來的訪問團。至今為止，雙方的學術交流已持續八年。

茗溪高等學院簡介

茗溪高等學院創立于1979年，是一所私立全日制寄宿制高中。自創辦之日起，茗溪學院即以面向每一位學生的素質教育為核心理念，致力于激發學生的潛力，成就最好的自我。40年來，茗溪學院培養的畢業生在世界各地、社會各行各業（包括科研、醫藥、法律、經濟、教育、藝術等領域）發揮重要作用，作出了令人矚目的貢獻。

2016年7月，茗溪高等學院正式成為IB學校，開始開設IBDP課程。

上午是教學見習活動。同樣是IB學校的學生，茗溪學院的同學們體驗了高一Pre-DP的經濟和物理課，在課上與DP老師、位育的學生展開了積極的互動，初步感受了位育課程的特點、位育師生的上課風格。

下午是課題交流活動。我校高二DP的學生代表以及高一的全體同學齊聚于位育博育樓會場，與茗溪學院的同學們展開了長達近一個半小時的課題研究分享活動。茗溪學院的同學們分享的課題囊括了不同的學科方向，比如科學實驗類有關“皮試重要性”的研究，極具現實感和創新度，人文類有關日本作家的研究，以及跨學科的課題“如何把廢棄金屬變成有意義的藝術品”，研究成果引人驚嘆。我校學生代表的課題更偏向于人文科學類，比如“南京地鐵一號線藝術墻對游客的影響”，“大學生對付費音樂版權的態度”等課題，顯示出對社會現實問題高度的敏感性。雙方學生代表都展現了出色的演講能力，臺下掌聲連連，氣氛活躍。

茗溪學院帶隊老師丸山大輔老師和位育外教Ms. Jennifer，作為教師代表對雙方課題交流做了點評與總結，兩位老師肯定了同學們的研究成果，贊美同學們卓越的研究能力與交流能力，同時對今后的交流活動寄予了美好的期許。

活動最后，我校將象征位育形象的位育校服熊贈送給茗溪學院的老師、同學們，校服熊成為了中日友誼的見證。

此次日本茗溪高等學院與上海民辦位育中學的交流活動就此結束，但雙方學生的學術研究以及友誼將產生深遠的影響。青山不改，綠水長流，期待明年再見！

Research Shared with Visitors from Meikei High School

On 6th March, 2019, the teacher and student representatives from Meikei High School in Japan visited our school for an annual research sharing meeting. Headmaster Song Min, Ms. Hong Nan and Ms. Ge Luna welcomed our guests. So far, the academic exchanges between the two schools have lasted eight years.

Introduction of Meikei High School

Meikei High School is a private co-educational day and boarding school for boys and girls aged from 12 to 18. It was founded in 1979 as Meikei-kai, the alumni association of the University of Tsukuba, formally known as Tokyo University of Education, celebrated its centenary.

Ever since its foundation, the distinctive feature of Meikei has been the great all-round education that enables each student to reach for the best of their potential. We are very proud of the thousands of young men and women who have been educated at Meikei and gone on to take their places in society. Many Meikei graduates have achieved outstanding success in various fields including scientific research, medicine, law, business, education, the arts and music, not only in Japan but overseas.

Meikei High School became an IB World School in July 2016.

In the morning, Japanese students also participated in the Economics and Physics classes to experience our IB course. Wonderful interaction was created and the atmosphere was experienced by those guests. The foreign students began to understand typical education style of Weiyu.

In the afternoon, the student representatives from both Meikei High School and Weiyu High School gathered together at the Boyu Building to start the 90-minute academic research event. In the sharing event, the research topics of the Japanese representatives had various aspects and included different subjects, such as the importance of skin testing, which was extremely creative and realistic. Apart from this, the cultural study of a famous Japanese writer and the topic about ways to change useless metal into aesthetic artifacts both had amazing results.

In the meantime, students from Weiyu completed many topics about society and human behaviors, like the effect of the art wall in Nanjing No.1 subway line and citizens’ attitudes towards music copyright, demonstrating our awareness of social problems.

The student representatives from both sides showed excellent presentation skills and gained continuous applause from the audiences. Mr. Maruyama Daisuke and Ms. Jennifer made comments and summaries as teacher representatives. They commended the excellent research study reports and expressed great expectations on future exchange activities.

In the end, school uniform bears were presented to our guests as gifts. They have become a witness of profound friendship between the two countries.

Though this researching sharing event has come to an end, its effect will be everlasting. The communication between our two schools would continue next year. We will all be looking forward to it.
