Dear All,
On February 23rd2019, FMUN III was held at Fudan International School. More than 85 students from around Shanghai participated at the conference. Originating from over half a dozen international schools, they spent over nine hours debating upon various global issues, in their respective four committees.
今年的2月23日，復旦附中國際部的模擬聯合國隊正式舉行了第三次聯合國模擬會。擁有著從6所學校前來的85名學生，花了接近9個小時討論大家所代表的的四大委員會事務。
Fudan Model United Nations began its journey on May 26th2018. In its early stage, FMUN I consisted of 1 committee of 30 delegates, made up of attendees from three international schools. This marked the beginning of the Model United Nations Conferences held by Fudan. Despite the initial low number of participants, the FMUN Admin Team embraced the opportunity and made its mission to expand FMUN in hopes of inspiring younger students with an interest in global politics and international relations, as well as to bring back good old debate.
復旦附中國際部聯合國模擬會第一次會議是在2018年5月26日舉行的。那場模聯會，只有一個委員會以及三十個參加者。但那次活動記載著復旦附中國際部聯合國模擬會的開端。雖然那場模擬會只有少量人數，但復旦附中國際部的管理員團隊得到了很好的機會，肯定了自己給人們帶來更加有趣的辯論、也給了對國際政治的學生們一個機會尋找自己的興趣。
Now, what is MUN?Model United Nations (MUN) is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. In which delegates get to take on the role of a country in law and decision making on various issues at hand.
相信大家都對聯合國模擬會還不太了解。聯合國模擬會（MUN）給參加者一個在聯合國里面扮演國家代表的機會。在MUN里面，代表會參與到目前世界中的重大主題并提出自己的想法。
At FMUN III, after the opening ceremony, all delegates headed to their respective committees, which were the World Trade Organization, Security Council, Legal Council and SOCHUM. With approximately 20 delegates in each committee, so the day began.
在本次開場典禮結束后，各個代表都走向了自己的委員會。在FMUNIII里，有著四大委員會：世界貿易組織，安全顧問委員會，法律顧問委員會，聯合國社會人權及文化委員會。每個委員會中有大約二十名代表。

During FMUN, snack breaks were held after one to two hours of serious debating so that everyone could get refreshed and gain some energy for further discussions. During snack breaks, delegates were able to socialize over tea and meet new students from other schools.
在FMUN的全天活動中，每一兩個小時的活動后有休息時間。這個休息時間能夠讓參加者獲得足夠的休息進入到下一場熱烈的辯論。同時，大家能夠和別的參加者聊天并成為朋友。

Before lunch, each committee bloc was asked to hand in their resolution paper, which summarized all the ideas and proposals which were to be debated about after lunch. The debate on the resolution paper revealed the true colours of countries, as their policies, legislations and goals bloomed to the fore. Throughout the hours of fruitful debate, amendments and the war of words, the final goal was to reach common ground, and often to do so, countries needed to compromise and have lengthy discussions over issues. However, in the greater picture, all was done so to make the world a better, safer place for its global citizens.
每個委員會隊都需要在午餐前提交自己的決議文件。決議文件上寫著是每個隊的提議和覺得應該使用的規則。這份決議文件會給到每個委員會里的人，并開始辯論關于決議文件上的各種提議。針對這些提議的辯論會闡明每個國家的想法，政策。經過了幾個小時的高效率的辯論，最終形成一份每位代表都能接受的決議文件。

The day ended with the closing ceremony, at which rewards and certificates were handed out to delegates for their outstanding work, and they were awarded FMUN mugs and T-shirts.
