Our second SAS Gala for the Arts was on March 2 and welcomed nearly 500 SAS parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends - all to support our students and raise money for theArtists in Residence program. The “moonlight masquerade” themed event included a fashion show of Grace Chen's designs worn by SAS parents and students, a beautiful performance by the Slate Dance Company featuring our SAS student dancers and musicians, and a live auction.
三月二號，我們的第二屆藝術盛典盛大啟幕。當晚，上海美國學校500位學生家長、教職員工、校友和社會友好人士到場為我們的學生加油助威，為我們的“藝術家駐場”項目募集資金。藝術盛典以化裝舞會的形式舉行，活動精彩紛呈，包括由上海美國學校家長和學生擔任模特的Grace Chen時裝秀、由上海美國學校學生舞蹈家和音樂家傾情奉獻的Slate Dance Company演出以及一場現場拍賣會。
By the end of the night we surpassed our goal and raised more than 1.7 million RMB to support visual and performing arts at Shanghai American School. And it was really fun too.
活動當晚，我們超額完成了我們的目標，為上海美國學校的藝術項目募集資金超過人民幣170萬元。大家也都玩得非常盡興。
