Pudong Campus | Exciting Piano Competition

On the morning of March 18th, the result of the piano competition came out: Chris from grade 1, Angelina from grade 2, Xiaoxiao from grade 3, Andrew from grade 4, and Ryan from grade 5 won the first place of their grade. Since last Monday, March 11th, the little performers from different grades in Pudong campus have been presenting exciting piano competitions for us. Surrounded by teachers and classmates, the players absorbedly performed the lovely songs with abundant passion. All the performers were shining on the stage! Teachers and students were immersed in the impassioned musical feast. Longing for more time to express themselves, the students ended their performances one by one, after which they received a round of applause. The piano competition brought a pleasing atmosphere around the whole campus.

69 competitors signed up for the competition this year. With the guidance of the music teacher, Ms. Sissy, all the homeroom teachers in Pudong campus acted as judges who took part in the evaluation of the players’ performance. Competition leads to progress. Not only did the piano competition provides the students with precious chances to present their piano skills, but also it encouraged the students to communicate with their peers about piano practical skills and to help each other. After the exciting competition in each grade, 5 outstanding performers will represent Pudong campus and compete with the players in Puxi campus in the final competition.

3月18日上午，浦東校區鋼琴比賽的結果新鮮出爐：來自一年級的Chris、二年級的Angelina、三年級的Xiaoxiao、四年級的Andrew以及五年級的Ryan分別榮獲了各年級的頭名。自上周一，3月11日以來，浦東校區各年級的小樂手們在音樂教室中為大家呈現著一場場精彩紛呈的鋼琴學術活動。比賽中，每一位參賽選手都專心致志地演奏著，用自己豐富的情感演繹著精妙的曲子。在舞臺上的他們閃閃發光！同學與老師們都聽得津津有味，沉浸在這場聽覺盛宴中。短暫的表演時間很快就結束了，雖然小演奏家們意猶未盡，卻收獲了來自心滿意足的觀眾們如雷貫耳的掌聲。余音繞梁，三日不絕。鋼琴比賽仿佛讓整個校區的上空都飄揚著美妙的音符，令人心曠神怡。

這次的鋼琴比賽一共有69位選手報名參加。除了音樂老師Ms. Sissy，所有的班主任也都擔起了裁判的責任，為表演者各個方面的表現打分，并在比賽結束后認真地討論孩子們的演奏情況。競爭是使人進步的。通過這次琴藝的切磋，同學們收獲了分享彈琴心得的機會，互相幫助，共同成長。在各年級激烈的角逐后，5名佼佼者將代表浦東校區與浦西校區的孩子們進行決賽，讓我們拭目以待！
