On Tuesday this week, many of our Junior School and Senior School students had the opportunity to work with theamazing Tiger Taiko performers from Dulwich College Suzhou. The visiting senior students spent all day running workshops with our students, teaching the techniques of Japanese Taiko Drumming.

Our students very much enjoyed their time working with the drummers from Suzhou and it was lovely to see the cross-college interactions taking place. The highlight for many was watching the Tiger Taiko’s performance in our Junior School Music Maestros assembly. Our students were blown away and now want to be Taiko Masters themselves!

本周二，我校小學及中學部的多名同學有幸與來自蘇州德威學校的“Tiger”太鼓隊進行合作。來訪的客人們為中學部學生，他們花了一整天的時間與我校同學一起進行研討，并教授日本太鼓表演技巧。大家與來自蘇州的鼓手們一起度過了十分愉快的時光，我們也很高興地看到兩校間的跨校互動。對很多人來說，此次活動的亮點是在小學部“音樂大師會”上觀看“Tiger”所帶來的太鼓表演。同學們驚艷于鼓手們的精彩演出，現在他們也想成為太鼓大師！
