清華附中國際部2019家長老師見面會

清華附中國際部的老師們一直致力于與家長保持密切聯系，建立合作型家校關系，使家長更加深入、全面地了解孩子的需求。4月20日，在細雨紛飛的時節，本學期的家長老師見面會如期而至，家長們有機會和孩子的所有任課老師單獨溝通，共同討論孩子的學習和學校生活。

THIS teachers have always tried to establish strong partnerships with parents to support student learning and build a sense of community between home and the school. On the 20thof April, THIS hosted a parent teacher conference.Parents were able to discuss with each teacher individually about their children's progress at school and find solutions to academic or behavioral problems.

Primary School

小學部這次的家長會由小學生們主導，每個孩子都興奮地拉著爸爸媽媽展示自己這半學期以來學到的知識和成果。家長們在與孩子的交流中不僅真切地感受到孩子的成長，也感受到國際部小學老師們對孩子們一直以來的幫助與呵護。

The primary school parents'meeting is dominated by students themselves. Every child was excitedly pulling his parents to show what he has learned in the past half semester. Parents have not only felt the growth of their children, but also feel the help and care of THIS primary school teachers .

Secondary School

教師們分別從學生的行為習慣、學習表現等多方面與家長們溝通、交流和反饋，并對如何培養孩子良好的學習習慣提出了積極有效的建議。

Teachers gave feedback to parents on anything from students' behavior habits and learning performance; additionally teachers gave suggestions to parents on how to cultivate children's good learning habits.

國際部為未來面臨大學申請的九年級和十年級學生的家長開設了關于大學升學的工作坊，家長們認真聆聽了學校升學指導中心主任Ming和升學指導老師鄒培關于大學升學準備的介紹。

THIS provided a workshopto parents of students in grades nineand ten.Parents listened carefully to the introduction of college application by Mingrong Weng, director of the school's college counseling center, and Pei Zou, College Counselor.

中午休息時間，學校為家長們安排了一場別具一格的講座，主講人葉佳京先生用親身經驗與家長們分享南北極極地海上生活，帶領大家了解極地的自然生態及環境，體會極地探險家的勇氣及智慧，認識極地自然的魅力。

During the lunch break, the school arranged a unique lecture for parents.the speakerMr. John Yeh shared with THIS parents his experience of life on the sea in Arctic and Antarctic. He led parents to understand the natural ecology and environment of the Polar Regions and experience the courage and wisdom of the polar explorers, as well as recognizing the charm of nature in these areas.

THIS believes that the strong communication between the teachers and the parents has become a dynamic part of our educational success. The flow of information and ideas has been working effectively to build, maintain and strengthen the school community of students, teachers and parents.
