Pudong Campus | We love Chinese Culture Week!

From April 22 to April 26, all the students at Pudong campus celebrated Chinese Culture Week, an annual tradition at SHSID that allows students to gain insight into the charm of Chinese culture. Everyone actively took part in all kinds of activities as Chinese culture learner, explorer and disseminator. Let’s look back on the highlights of this week and enjoy the delightful moments!

Grade One: The Forbidden City

The first graders familiarized themselves with the Forbidden City, the greatest traditional imperial architecture in China. They read stories and poems and even made handcrafts relating to this beautiful imperial palace.

Grade Two: The Twenty-Four Solar Terms

The second graders learned about the traditional twenty-four solar terms and had lots of fun activities such as painting fans, singing songs and taking videos. Their fantastic artwork won our great admiration.

Grade Three: Beautiful Chinese Poetry

In the classrooms of grade three students, there was a strong poetic atmosphere. Students recited ancient Chinese poems in different dialects of Chinese and made delicate and poetic works with pictures and music, sharing and experiencing the beauty of Chinese language and poetry.

Grade Four: Chinese Traditional Activities

The fourth graders explored the mystery of the Qin Dynasty by watching a film about the Terracotta Warriors. Students also had the chance to experience the fun of Chinese paper-cutting, hand-painting kites, and drinking Chinese tea, which help them cultivate a strong interest of traditional Chinese culture.

On April 23, all the students visited the Zhendan Museum to explore various Chinese antiquities. And the Chinese Poetry Competition on April 25 was the highlight of the entire week, and teachers were overjoyed to see that students had learned so much in such a short time! Chinese Culture Week has come to a successful end, and everyone enjoyed this event. We expect students continue to explore the profound Chinese culture in the future！

浦東校區(qū)：魅力中華文化，春滿詩(shī)意校園

人間四月，春風(fēng)習(xí)習(xí)，春雨滋潤(rùn)著萬(wàn)物生長(zhǎng)。4月22日至4月26日，浦東校區(qū)的學(xué)生們感受了中華文化的滋養(yǎng)，體驗(yàn)了中華文化的魅力，歡度一年一度的中國(guó)文化周。本周，每一位學(xué)生都積極參與到每個(gè)年級(jí)的活動(dòng)中去，成為中華文化的學(xué)習(xí)者、體驗(yàn)者和傳播者。讓我們走進(jìn)浦東小學(xué)段的中國(guó)文化周，一起來(lái)感受一下中華文化的博大精深吧。

一年級(jí)：“故宮”主題活動(dòng)

本次，一年級(jí)圍繞著我國(guó)最偉大的皇家古典建筑——故宮，開(kāi)展了豐富多彩的活動(dòng)。他們?cè)谡n內(nèi)外閱讀和故宮有關(guān)的小故事，品味和故宮有關(guān)的詩(shī)詞佳句，還動(dòng)手制作了和故宮有關(guān)的手工藝制品呢。

二年級(jí)：“二十四節(jié)氣”主題活動(dòng)

本次二年級(jí)的同學(xué)們近距離學(xué)習(xí)了中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)的“二十四節(jié)氣”，他們參與的活動(dòng)非常豐富，包括手繪團(tuán)扇、唱節(jié)氣歌、錄節(jié)氣視頻、視頻展示幾個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)，同學(xué)們的作品兼顧藝術(shù)美感與科學(xué)技能，不得不讓人駐足驚嘆。

三年級(jí)：詩(shī)意滿人間

本次文化周，三年級(jí)圍繞著“詩(shī)”開(kāi)展活動(dòng)，教室里處處洋溢著濃濃的詩(shī)意。學(xué)生們從祖父母、父母那里學(xué)習(xí)他們的方言，在課堂上用方言朗誦一首古詩(shī)；他們也動(dòng)手制作了配有精美圖片和音樂(lè)的詩(shī)歌朗誦作品，并體驗(yàn)了中國(guó)茶道文化。

四年級(jí)：動(dòng)手玩轉(zhuǎn)中華文化

本周，四年級(jí)的學(xué)生們開(kāi)展了觀賞兵馬俑、體驗(yàn)剪紙樂(lè)趣、繪制風(fēng)箏圖案、品味春茶芬芳等活動(dòng)，在實(shí)踐中培養(yǎng)了對(duì)中國(guó)文化的濃厚興趣。

整個(gè)浦東小學(xué)段的同學(xué)們還于4月23日探訪了震旦博物館，三至五年級(jí)學(xué)生們于4月25日當(dāng)天，在大禮堂舉辦了古詩(shī)詞大賽。中華文化源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng)，雖然短短的一周很快過(guò)去了，但是相信燦爛的中國(guó)文化已經(jīng)深深根植于孩子們的心中，希望他們?cè)谖幕飞喜粩嗵剿骱颓斑M(jìn)。
