Pudong Campus | A Field Trip is Always the Best！

Studies show that childhood play is beneficial to develop students’ motor skills, such as walking, running, and coordination. Playing in challenging recreational facilities can stimulate students’ creativity, imaginations, executive function, and teamwork skills. On April 29, the first, second, and third grade students went to Baoyan Paradise to explore and have fun! The recreational facilities provided them with a great chance to show and improve their different skills. Research also shows that field trips are crucial in helping students develop hands-on experiences, deepening their understanding of culture, and preparing them for the future. While the lower graders were playing in Baoyan, the fourth and fifth grade students went to Shanghai Great World to experience the special culture of old-time Shanghai.

1. Exploring the Secrets of the Playground.

The students from first to third grade enjoyed everything in the indoor playground. They had so much fun with the slides, trampolines, climbing, etc. The students shared their experiences and learned from each other to keep balance better, jump higher, and climb farther. Students enjoyed every single minute in the park!

 

2. Feeling the Culture of Old-time Shanghai.

The fourth and fifth grade students felt the fascinating culture at Shanghai Great World. The students visited home models to see how people lived in 70s. Then they were impressed by the craftsmanship and the exquisite handcrafts, such as clay sculptures, sugar-molds, and Chinese shadow puppets. After lunch, they enjoyed a magic show, and had a fun time in the carnival mirror house.

Both of these field trips not only allowed students to relax after the midterm exams, but also powered them with more energy for the second half semester!

研究顯示: 游戲行為有益于兒童動(dòng)作技能等方面的提高和促進(jìn)，比如行走、奔跑、以及協(xié)調(diào)性。一些有挑戰(zhàn)性的娛樂設(shè)施還可促進(jìn)兒童的創(chuàng)造力、想象力、執(zhí)行力、以及團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作能力。4月29日，浦東校區(qū)一至三年級(jí)的同學(xué)們來到了“寶燕樂園”探索其中的秘密。樂園中的娛樂設(shè)施為同學(xué)們提供了展現(xiàn)和提高動(dòng)作技能以及團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作等能力的機(jī)會(huì)。另有研究指出戶外探究對(duì)于促進(jìn)學(xué)生實(shí)踐動(dòng)手能力起著至關(guān)重要的作用，不僅可以深化學(xué)生對(duì)文化的感知，還可以讓他們準(zhǔn)備好面對(duì)未來生活中的挑戰(zhàn)。當(dāng)?shù)湍昙?jí)的弟弟妹妹在游樂場(chǎng)釋放能量時(shí)，四五年級(jí)學(xué)生來到了充滿上海風(fēng)情的“大世界”來感受老上海的文化風(fēng)情。

探索樂園的秘密

一至三年級(jí)的同學(xué)們享受著樂園中的一切。滑梯、蹦床、攀爬等

游戲讓同學(xué)們玩得不亦樂乎。同學(xué)們?cè)谕娴耐瑫r(shí)也在交流經(jīng)驗(yàn)，你教我怎么攀登到頂峰，我教你如何在過獨(dú)木橋時(shí)保持平衡。每個(gè)同學(xué)都酣暢淋漓，享受著游戲帶來的歡樂。

感受老上海的情調(diào)

四五年級(jí)的同學(xué)們?cè)凇按笊虾！鳖I(lǐng)略著上海特殊的文化底蘊(yùn)。同學(xué)們參觀了“弄堂人家”，體驗(yàn)了70年代的人們是如何生活的。隨后同學(xué)們被捏泥人、皮影戲、吹糖人等精湛的民間手藝和匠人精神所折服，不斷稱贊前人的智慧。午飯過后，同學(xué)們欣賞了魔術(shù)表演，并在哈哈鏡屋中盡情歡笑。

期中后的春游既可以讓同學(xué)們放松精神，調(diào)節(jié)心情，更是讓同學(xué)們攢足精神，迎接下半學(xué)期的挑戰(zhàn)！
