Middle School | Charity Concert

On November 18th, middle school students held a charity concert, which provided a festival of visual and auditory enjoyment.

The violin duet "Cannon" brought by Bella and Aine in class 8 (11) was melodious and elegant; the song "What’s On Your Mind?” sung by Erika and Michelle in class 8 (5) was light and refreshing; eight students from Grade 8 provided pop dance performances which were full of energy and passion. In addition, four students from grade 7 demonstrated wonderful instrumental performances. Ruogu from class 7 (11) brought Cello Solo ”Haydn’s Sonata in C major” , Edward from class 7 (10) and Roy from class 7 (3) performed violin solos "Deux Mazurkas Caracteristiques" and "Spirited Away", Harrison from class 7(7) played saxophone solo "Turkish March" , Rich from class 7 (11) sang the song "Faded". The performance of the concert was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm, everyone was in a celebratory mood, indulging in the wonderful music feast, and the applause and cheers were warmly received.

The concert set up a wechat store link for everyone to pay to support performers, and the funds raised will be donated to charities and schools in rural areas. It is hoped that students can continue to help the children in less advanced areas and repay society through their good deeds.

The charity concert will be staged again from 12:30-13:00 on Tuesday, November 19th and Wednesday, November 20th. Students and teachers are welcome to watch the concert and start the spiritual music journey together.

11月18日，國際部初中段同學(xué)在新藝術(shù)樓前方形廣場舉辦了一場別開生面的慈善音樂會，給大家?guī)砹艘粓鲆曈X和聽覺雙重享受的音樂盛宴。

8（11）班戴思捷和張愛妮同學(xué)帶來的小提琴二重奏《卡農(nóng)》，清新優(yōu)雅；8（5）班同學(xué)廖淖霈和江灃合唱的歌曲“what’s on your mind” 節(jié)奏輕快，悅耳動聽；來自8年級的8名同學(xué)帶來了兩段街舞，動感十足，嗨翻全場。除此之外還有4名來自7年級的同學(xué)帶來了精彩的器樂演奏，7（11）班王若谷同學(xué)帶來了大提琴獨(dú)奏《海頓C大調(diào)奏鳴曲》，7（10）班鄭浩和7（3）班許致嘉分別表演了小提琴獨(dú)奏《Deux Mazurkas Caracteristiques》以及《千與千尋》, 7(7)班唐浩天同學(xué)吹奏了薩克斯風(fēng)曲《土耳其進(jìn)行曲》；而來自7（11）班的周啟裕同學(xué)則帶來了獨(dú)唱歌曲“faded”。一雙雙靈巧的雙手演奏出了無比美妙的樂章，清亮的歌喉演唱出悅耳天籟，一首首耳熟能詳?shù)慕?jīng)典作品被同學(xué)們演繹得婉轉(zhuǎn)動聽。

音樂會表演生動精彩，現(xiàn)場氣氛熱烈，大家情緒激蕩、心靈起舞，共同沉醉在美妙的音樂盛宴中，最后報(bào)以熱烈的掌聲和歡呼聲。音樂會的成功演出給大家校園生活增添了幾分歡樂和情趣。此外，音樂會設(shè)立了微店鏈接，供大家付費(fèi)支持表演者，募集的資金將會捐獻(xiàn)給慈善機(jī)構(gòu)和貧困地區(qū)的學(xué)校。希望孩子們能通過自己的點(diǎn)滴善行幫助貧困地區(qū)的孩子們，回報(bào)社會。

慈善音樂會將在11月19日（周二）和20日（周三）中午12：30-13:00再度上演，歡迎同學(xué)和老師們前來觀看，共同開啟心靈之旅。
