項目介紹

Upenn Pre-College Program賓大大學(xué)預(yù)科項目專門為想挑戰(zhàn)大學(xué)本科年級難度感興趣的高中學(xué)生設(shè)計的。所有參與Pre-College Program的學(xué)生可以與賓大的本科生一起參與暑期課堂，并提供了大量的課程選擇，真實體驗Ivy League常春藤名校的大學(xué)生活。所有的課程均由賓夕法尼亞大學(xué)教師，工作人員和訪問學(xué)者教授，此外，還提供學(xué)術(shù)咨詢、大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)資源和大學(xué)招生工作等資源。學(xué)生選課課程安排：

College-Level Courses大學(xué)級課程
- 一旦被錄取，學(xué)生就與賓夕法尼亞大學(xué)的學(xué)術(shù)顧問協(xié)商，在以下三個極具挑戰(zhàn)的課程體系選擇其一種選課方式：
  - 一個學(xué)分課程和一個非學(xué)分課程（1 C.U.）*
  - 生物學(xué)101與實驗課（1.5 C.U.）
  - 兩門大學(xué)學(xué)分課程（2 C.U.）
- 具體新課程選擇可以參照官網(wǎng)，1 C.U.代表4個大學(xué)學(xué)分。夏季課程的規(guī)模通常會比較小，大多數(shù)可周一至周五上2-5次，包括作業(yè)，研究論文，期中/期末考試等。由于很多課程比較熱門，所以建議越早申請越好。
Enrichment Courses充實課程
- 選擇參加一門大學(xué)學(xué)分課程的學(xué)生必須還要選擇一門無學(xué)分的充實課程，旨在補充和加強本科階段課程的學(xué)習(xí)。課程內(nèi)容包括critical reading and academic writing批判性閱讀和學(xué)術(shù)寫作, online research techniques在線研究技能, community leadership社區(qū)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)課, 以及 SAT/ACT preparation 標化SAT/ACT考試準備。這些課程是由具有豐富教學(xué)經(jīng)驗的learning specialists 學(xué)習(xí)專家授課，通常周一至周四每周四次。

所有參與Pre-College Program的學(xué)生均與UPenn本科學(xué)生享受同樣的學(xué)術(shù)標準和要求。課程結(jié)束后，學(xué)生也可以根據(jù)需要付費獲得賓大官方成績單，除Enrichment Course外。如有需要轉(zhuǎn)學(xué)分，可以聯(lián)系相關(guān)授權(quán)機構(gòu)比如University of Pennsylvania賓夕法尼亞。

- Describe your academic and personal goals and how these may be further achieved by studying at Penn during the summer. Feel free to discuss the particular program to which you are applying as well as other aspects of studying at Penn during the summer.
- Select a few of your non-academic or extracurricular experiences and explain how these activities supplement your academic and personal growth.
- Non-native English speakers only:?Describe your English educational background and experience.
高中成績單（至少包含1年完整學(xué)年的成績單）且高中GPA不低于3.3
標準化考試成績，如PSAT，SAT or ACT,如果有可以提供，有助于申請
非在全英語教學(xué)學(xué)校的至少2個學(xué)年的學(xué)生，需提交語言標化成績，iBT不低于100，CBT不低于250，PBT不低于600，IELTS不低于7
