In the past two years,my creativity, organization,coordination, and problem-solving independently skills have all been improved. Not long ago, I organized the Charity Carnival to raise donations for needy children in Ruian Mountain. In summer vacation, I will attend the 20-day summer school at the University of Pennsylvania， participate in the MIT iGEM Contest program，and prepare for SAT and the upcoming college application.

In some people’s opinion, international schools are more relaxed. When I am here, I learn that IB curriculum has different pressures. IB pays more attention to the development of competence and focuses on self challenge. We need to make speeches and write essays. We need a lot of reading and information seeking. Time management has become very important. It requires a reasonable time management to control the completion of the work. The quality of the work completed will affect the final results. In short, IB is not only focusing on the final results, but more on the process.

Here I have experienced different cultures. Everyone has a different style. In the process of mutual communication and cooperation,? my cross-cultural communication skills have been improved. I took a drama class and played Willy Wonka in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" .During the rehearsal, the theatre teacher always had some magical ideas that could be used right in the performance. Through the drama course, we learn to express our thoughts better, and form open-minded thinking. In the process of learning anthropology, we understand the theoretical system. TOK is an interesting course that teaches us to use critical thinking, such as the application of data and the proliferation of data. We consider it more comprehensively.

When I first came to school, I was still not quite accustomed to communicating in English. It was very tired to speak English all day at the beginning. Now I'm comfortable to communicate in English.I also participate in the CAS music band. I participate in training every Monday and Wednesday. We have performed three or four public performances. My child has been studying in PKUES(JX) International Division for nearly two years.The deepest feeling is that gratifying changes have taken place on my child after he came to the IB school from the public school. The High School has grown by one grade level, with last year's grade 10 moving forward to grade 11 in the IB program.This means that they are challenged with all of the requirements of the International Baccalaureate, just as we are challenged to provide them with the opportunity to learn this most rigorous international curriculum.? The IB diploma involves not just academic coursework and exams, but also a holistic approach to learning, growth, and international mindedness.

We have built an individualized, holistic academic counseling program that focuses on the students’ goals for higher education abroad. We have a global reach, preparing students for programs in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and Europe. The program helps students organize and plan for their future by engaging in discussions between the counselor, the students, and the parents. We aim to take an open-minded and personalized approach appropriate to the IB philosophy which fosters an international outlook.
