A favorite event on our Pudong campus was back this year, with our PTSA hosting Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole (of our cafeteria). Elementary students learn some independence as they explore generosity and giving this season, arriving to this magical wonderland with a shopping list in hand and, that’s right, a budget. Kids find and buy all sorts of gifts for their loved ones, and take home wrapped packages, which occasionally even stay wrapped until Christmas morning. Because honestly, with the kids in charge of these gifts, who can be expected to wait that long?

浦東校區一個非常受喜愛的活動今年再次回歸，我們的家委會在北極（餐廳二層）開設了圣誕老人作坊。在這個節日季，小學部的學生們拿著采購清單，做好預算來到這個神奇的作坊，在這里探索慷慨與給予的真諦時，也學會了獨立。孩子們為他們摯愛的人尋找并購買各種各樣的禮物，將包裝好的禮物帶回家。有些禮物甚至會一直等到圣誕節早上才被打開。坦白講，考慮到這些禮物是孩子們精心挑選的，誰還能等那么長時間呢？
