歡呼吶喊聲交織在一起

奏響了這個季節(jié)的協(xié)和最強音

Chariot Race

什么，學校里居然開起了隆隆“戰(zhàn)車”？沒錯，上周五，先鋒融合課程的同學就在協(xié)和雙語學校體育館里舉行了一場令人大飽眼福的“戰(zhàn)車比賽”。

Wow! What a marvellous spectacle we had with our 2018 Pioneer Grade 4 Chariot Race held in the gym last Friday.

想要在戰(zhàn)車比賽中拔得頭籌？

不僅需要外形設計獨具匠心

更要結合實用性、可操控性及安全性能

于是，同學們打開了一個個探究的新世界

此次先鋒四年級探究的主題為”古代文明“。以此為突破口，老師們精心策劃了跨學科戰(zhàn)車建構比賽，所有戰(zhàn)車的設計、制作都出自孩子們之手。比賽這天，形態(tài)各異、創(chuàng)意滿溢的”戰(zhàn)車“悉數隆重登場了！

The grade 4 students project for their first inquiry was Ancient Civilizations and the project we chose for them was a chariot building competition which culminated in the chariot design and chariot race competition held today.

這是一場速度與力量的決戰(zhàn)，更是團隊默契指數大比拼，小伙伴們紛紛使出渾身解數一爭高下。最后，老師們的參與更讓比賽進入難分高下的白熱化狀態(tài)，全場掀起了一陣又一陣高潮。

We held three competitions today – An obstacle race to see which was the fastest chariot, a best designed chariot and a special race – with one team from each class pulling their Chinese Inquiry teachers.

正如獲得比賽冠軍的DoDo隊口號一樣：“只要努力嘗試，任何事都能做到。”經過此次探究活動，希望每一位協(xié)和學子在學習的道路上都能勇于挑戰(zhàn)，上下求索，成就自己一個又一個精彩的小夢想！

What a great activity to finish off their first Inquiry topic in Grade 4.Let’s hope that the students have learned some things from it and go for ever onwards, and upwards, in their learning. In the words of the fastest chariot – we can DoDo anything we want – as long as we try.

Rope Skipping Competition

其實，在剛剛過去的兩周里，協(xié)和體育館的每一天都熱火朝天，因為這里正在進行著全校總動員的跳繩比賽。每一位協(xié)和學子都成了能量爆棚的小宇宙，在比賽中釋放出無窮的自信與活力。

The students from SUIS Hongqiao Campus took part in the Rope Skippng Competition during last two weeks. They all fully involved in the competition and enjoyed the fun of sports.
