成長是每個人的必經之路。雛鳥經過成長的蛻變慢慢成為展翅的雄鷹，毛毛蟲經過成長的蛻變變成美麗的蝴蝶；而我經過十三年的成長從一個嗷嗷待哺的嬰兒成為一個熱血男兒，經歷了成長的酸甜苦辣，有喜悅有開心，有煩惱也有彷徨。真正有了這些成長的點滴經歷，才讓我有了這完美的蛻變。
來到楓葉后我成長了許多。因為楓葉與以往的學校有很大的不同，最大的不同就是住宿生活。我第一天來到楓葉就跟剛出生的嬰兒一樣無知又天真。我不知道這里的學習和生活習慣，我甚至不知道食堂怎么去買飯，更不知道晚上我自己睡覺該怎么辦；第一次離開媽媽的我也有一點想家，又有些不知所措。是我的班主任史老師給了我來到楓葉的第一份鼓勵，他深夜和我促膝長談，安慰我要堅強、勇敢，告訴我適應新的學校生活也是一種成長進步。慢慢我覺得宿舍生活也挺美好的，會有更過自己的空間。我學會了自己洗衣服，自己理財，自己整理內務。雖然與室友有些小矛盾但都能彼此體諒，和睦相處。
在楓葉的學習生活中，由于之前我在為湖北省讀書，那邊是六三制的教育，我已經讀過六年級，因此來到楓葉初中，六年級所學的內容我并不陌生，再次學習學過的內容，使我的基礎知識更加牢固。在班里，史老師提倡小組合作學習模式，我們組內不僅可以一起學習，還能互相成為對方的小老師，互幫互助，給別人講題的過程中，更加深了我們對知識的理解。楓葉的英語分級教學對我來說是一個嶄新的學習模式，和自己同一級別的學生在一起學習，消除了我對英語的恐懼，中外英語課堂上富有有趣的英語知識問答的小游戲，讓我們在樂中學，在學中用。
成長，使我們從幼稚走向成熟，使我們從失敗走向成功，雖然成長的道路漫長又艱難，但我相信，我們就是在這個不斷變化的過程中一步一步蛻變，蛻變成為更好的自己！

My first day at Maple Leaf was as ignorant and innocent as a newborn baby. I didn't know the study and living habits here. I didn't even know how to buy food in the cafeteria. Ievendidn't know what to do when I sleep at night. The first time I left my mother, I missed my home a lotand I was overwhelmed. It was my class teacher, Mr. Shi, who gave me the first encouragement to come to Maple Leaf. He talked with me late at night, comforting me to be strong and braveand telling me that adapting to new school life was also a kind of growth and progress. Slowly, I feel that the dormitory life is also very goodand there would be more space for myself. Ihad learned to wash my clothes, managed my own finances, and organized my own affairs. Although there were some minor contradictions with roommates, Wecould understand each other and lived in harmony.
Before the study life of Maple Leaf, I was studying inHubei Province, because of the Six-Three Educational System, I had already studied the sixth grade.So whenI came to Maple Leaf Junior High School, I was notunfamiliar with the content of the sixth grade.
