SHSID establishes cooperative relationship with SIBS, CASOn December 18th 2018, Shanghai High School International Division (SHSID) established a cooperative relationship with Shanghai Institutes for Biological Science, Chinese Academy of Science (SIBS, CAS). Witnessed by SHS principal, Mr. Feng Zhigang, Mr. Liu Lian, principal of the primary and middle school of SHSID, signed a cooperative agreement with Mr. Cai Peng, Party chief of the Communist Party of SIBS, CAS. Ms. Luo Hua, director of SHSID affairs center, Ms. Yao Shenghua, technical instructor-general of SHSID, Ms. Chen Jianhong, director of the personnel and education division of Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, CAS, researcher, Ms. Wang Lan and Mr. Zhang Haibing also participated in the signing event.At the ceremony, the principal, Mr. Feng Zhigang, showed a warm welcome and thanks to SIBS,CAS for visiting, as well as introduced our “research and innovative” educational philosophy. Established in 1993, SHSID has widely accepted the essence of advanced education, with the goal of cultivating international talents with a global view and Chinese mindset. Finally, Mr. Cai Peng introduced some recent achievements of CAS and expressed his expectation for future science education for primary and middle school students. The SIBS, CAS is the leading biological research institute with rich technological and human resources in China. Based on the principles of “resource sharing, mutual exchange, improving capacity, and serving students”, both partners will develop wider cooperation in the aspects of research projects, thematic activities, and students’ practical activities.
After the ceremony, accompanied by principal, Mr. Liu Lian, visitors visited the campus and developed a deeper understanding for SHSID’s long history and rich teaching resources; both partners showed they will co-construct work more effectively and solidly in accordance with new contract, providing students with more opportunities to build towards a new way for science education, accumulate new experiences, and achieve new outcomes.
12月18日，上海中學國際部與中國科學院上海生命科學研究院簽訂共建合作協議。在上海中學馮志剛校長的見證下，上海中學國際部初小校長劉煉和中國科學院上海生命科學研究院黨委書記蔡澎分別代表雙方簽署共建合作協議。國際部事務中心主任羅華、國際部初小科技總指導姚昇華，中國科學院上海營養(yǎng)與健康研究院人事教育處處長陳建紅、研究員王蘭及研究員章海兵參與了此次簽約儀式。
簽約儀式上，馮志剛校長對上海生命科學研究院來訪并與上海中學國際部簽署共建協議表示歡迎和感謝。在交流的過程中，馮校長介紹了上海中學打造“研究型、創(chuàng)新型”基礎名校的教育理念。上海中學國際部創(chuàng)辦于1993年，具有先進的辦學理念，始終致力于培養(yǎng)具有國際視野又有中國情結的國際化人才。上海生命科學研究院黨委書記蔡澎在會上介紹了近現代中科院所取得的傲人成就，同時表達了對未來中小學生科普教育工作的期盼。中國科學院上海生命科學研究院是我國生命科學研究領域重要的國立科研機構，具有豐富的科技和人才資源。合作雙方本著“資源共享，相互交流，提升能力，服務學生”的原則，將在課題研究、專題活動以及學生實踐等方面開展廣泛的合作。
簽約儀式后，在劉煉校長的陪同下，蔡澎書記一行參觀了校園，對上海中學百年歷史及豐富教學資源有了更加詳細直觀的了解。雙方均表示未來將按照共建協議，扎實有效地深入開展好共建工作，為學生科普教育探索新路子、積累新經驗、產出新成果。更多國際學校介紹
