By the end of last month, the service learning program at FDIS has completed its 2 and a quarter years. Now, in year 3, there are several significant changes and opportunities for the service-learning program this year.截至上個(gè)月底,F(xiàn)DIS的服務(wù)式學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目已經(jīng)進(jìn)入了它的第三年,今年的項(xiàng)目有幾個(gè)重大的變化和機(jī)遇值得關(guān)注。
Two changes | 兩個(gè)變化:
1) Individual SL/CAS records updated with the assistance from the advisors | 個(gè)人記錄,系統(tǒng)上傳,導(dǎo)師相助FDIS has officially changed to use a new online management system from September. With the support of advisors, students have successfully established their service learning records online by inputting information in the given template. Currently, teachers can check their activity profile on the computer.我校從今年九月起正式啟用新的線上管理系統(tǒng)。在各班級(jí)導(dǎo)師的指導(dǎo)下,學(xué)生通過模板提交信息,已經(jīng)成功地在新系統(tǒng)上建立了個(gè)人活動(dòng)檔案。目前老師在電腦端已可查詢。

2) Homeroom SL/CAS projects will better use the daily time and establish a closer relationship between students and advisors | 班級(jí)項(xiàng)目,時(shí)間分散,關(guān)系更密As in the previous two years, we will still have the service week in May, and the time for G6-10 is reduced from 5 days to 2 days, but the plans for each homeroom’s service projects will be proposed earlier and the preparation work will be distributed throughout the year, not only in one week. For Grade 11 students, each of the three classes will still use the 5 days to go outside of Shanghai to do the service-oriented trip.跟前兩年一樣,我們?cè)谖逶氯匀粫?huì)有服務(wù)周。對(duì)6到10年級(jí)而言,時(shí)間從5天縮短成了2天,但是各個(gè)班級(jí)的班級(jí)項(xiàng)目計(jì)劃卻會(huì)更早進(jìn)行,籌備工作則會(huì)分散到全年日常時(shí)間進(jìn)行,而非僅僅集中于一周。11年級(jí)的三個(gè)班級(jí)仍然會(huì)利用這5天時(shí)間離開上海,進(jìn)行他們以服務(wù)為導(dǎo)向的旅行。

What kind of opportunities? 何種機(jī)遇?
While we will still have the final presentation on one of the last two days of service week in May 2019, we will finish most of our work in regular days according to the plans. We hope by this way, the habit of helping others and the community could be cultivated gradually and into future.我們依舊會(huì)在2019年五月的服務(wù)周最后兩天中的一天呈現(xiàn)各個(gè)班級(jí)的服務(wù)成果,但是大部分的工作會(huì)在平日里按照計(jì)劃完成。我們希望通過這種方式,學(xué)生的服務(wù)意識(shí)和習(xí)慣能逐漸養(yǎng)成,并受益終身。Those above changes are made according to the feedback collected from students, teachers, parents and as well as the school. So this year, you are more than welcome to submit your suggestions whenever you want, making this program even more successful.
