The Master of Science in Real Estate [MSc(RealEst)] programme approaches real estate from a business and economic perspective. The aims of the programme are threefold. The first aim is to introduce students to real estate assets and markets, within the overall framework of law, institutions, and urban economies. The second aim is to provide students with the theoretical insight and analytical skills to identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities in both private and public sectors, including land development, asset management, financial market transactions (e.g. REIT), and? innovative land conversion ventures (e.g. PERE). The third aim is to equip students with the necessary management skills to understand and participate in functional and general management of enterprises active in real estate markets.
房地產(chǎn)理學(xué)碩士(理學(xué)碩士(RealEst))課程從商業(yè)和經(jīng)濟(jì)角度研究房地產(chǎn)。該方案的目標(biāo)有三方面。第一個(gè)目標(biāo)是在法律、機(jī)構(gòu)和城市經(jīng)濟(jì)的整體框架內(nèi),向?qū)W生介紹房地產(chǎn)資產(chǎn)和市場(chǎng)。第二個(gè)目標(biāo)是為學(xué)生提供理論洞察力和分析技能,以確定和評(píng)估私人和公共部門的房地產(chǎn)投資機(jī)會(huì),包括土地開(kāi)發(fā)、資產(chǎn)管理、金融市場(chǎng)交易(如房地產(chǎn)投資信托基金)和創(chuàng)新的土地轉(zhuǎn)換企業(yè)(如PERE)。第三個(gè)目標(biāo)是使學(xué)生具備必要的管理技能,以了解和參與活躍于房地產(chǎn)市場(chǎng)的企業(yè)的職能和一般管理。
Each student must complete twelve courses including prescribed and elective courses; or每名學(xué)生必須修畢12門課程,包括必修課和選修課;或

Curriculum Structure課程
The aim of the curriculum design is to provide advanced education in the academic and professional aspects of real estate development, investment, and management.? Where appropriate the curriculum will be related to cases not only in Hong Kong but also the People's Republic of China and the Southeast Asian region. 課程設(shè)計(jì)的目的是提供高等教育的學(xué)術(shù)和專業(yè)方面的房地產(chǎn)開(kāi)發(fā),投資和管理。在適當(dāng)情況下,課程將不僅涉及香港的案例,還將涉及中華人民共和國(guó)和東南亞地區(qū)的案例。

Selection of elective courses from the syllabus shall be subject to the approval of the Taught Postgraduate Committee. Not all courses from the syllabus will be offered every year. Candidates are required to take elective courses from a pool of designated electives to be announced by the Programme Director at the beginning of the year.
選修課程之選擇,應(yīng)經(jīng)碩士班教學(xué)委員會(huì)同意。并不是所有的課程大綱都將提供每年。申請(qǐng)人須從指定的選修科目中選修課程,課程將于年初由計(jì)劃總監(jiān)宣布。
* Candidates may take Dissertation (RECO6020) in lieu of Project workshop (RE) (RECO6059) in order to meet the prescribed courses requirements of the MSc (RE) degree.? Both are capstone courses, which focus on the integration and application of knowledge and skills that candidates have acquired throughout their studies. Candidates who take Dissertation (RECO6020) as a capstone course may have to complete the curriculum with more than 72 credits.
